Coffee May Contribute to Longevity on Greek Isle of Ikaria

It would be interesting to know if after boiling the coffee grounds they also traditionally pass the coffee through fitler papers or just pour it carefully off the gounds?
There are several studies showing boiled coffee RAISES Total Cholesterol levels. In older people higher TC is associated with lower all cause mortality.
Filtering boiled coffee removes the lipid raising effect.
