Quote of the Day: Limits of Tyrants

This one brings the TSA to mind…

Find out just what people will submit to and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them…. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.

— Frederick Douglass, former slave

  1. Fitting for the quote of the day…was a report released today that one-third of people would submit to a full body cavity search by the TSA just to fly….

  2. Hi, Bunny.
I avoid flying now because of TSA. If my destination is a five hour (or under) drive, I’m driving.

  3. I have almost entirely given up on flying. I used to travel to the Levant (Eastern Mediterranean from Turkey down to Egypt) every year, but hassles with the TSA made me dread every trip.
